Confronting Climate Change
Your interest in sewer heat recovery is a great step toward confronting climate change and becoming a regional pioneer in the use of sewer heat energy—an untapped renewable, carbon-free energy resource.
King County’s Strategic Climate Action Plan (SCAP) is a five-year blueprint for County climate action, integrating climate change into all areas of County operations and work with King County cities, partners, communities, and residents.
The updated 2020 SCAP consists of three core sections:
- Reducing Green House Gas (GHG) Emissions
- Sustainable & Resilient Frontline Communities
- Preparing for Climate Change
