Memorial Day - King County

Our website is changing! Starting March 31, 2023 our website will look different, but we're working hard to make sure you can still find what you need.

King County government offices will observe Memorial Day on the final Monday of May and will be closed. All offices will be back on a normal schedule the following Tuesday.

The King County Water Taxi will not be in operation.
Garbage collection operates on a normal pick-up schedule; transfer stations will be open. Call your garbage collection service provider for recycling pick-up information.
