Update from Family Court regarding Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response Activities

Until further notice, all in-person Family Law Orientation classes are converting to mail-only participation.

Please register as you normally would for the Family Law Orientation. If you need a fee waiver, email us at before you register.

You will be asked for contact information when you register. Please make sure your information is correct, as you may receive seminar materials via the US Postal Service or email.

Once you have reviewed the materials, you will be required to send an email certifying that you have read the Family Law Orientation materials. Please note that if you fail to email the certification that you read the seminar materials you will not receive a certificate of completion.

When we receive that certification email, you will be issued a certificate of completion. A copy will be emailed to you for your personal records. The original certificate will be filed with King County Superior Court.

Family Law Orientation Fee:

The FLO seminar fee is $20 per person plus additional processing fees. For information on a reduction or waiver of this fee, please check the Fee Reduction Guidelines.
