Students learn to make choices that contribute to a more environmentally sustainable school, community and planet through a school-wide assembly show, and hands-on classroom workshopsDownload PDF 75 K. Workshops explore personal connections to natural resource use and introduce concepts of environmental justice. These programs and services are available to schools in King County, outside of the City of Seattle, and are provided at no charge to the recipient.
Assembly program
The in-person Curiosity Quest school-wide assembly returns in fall 2022! This theatrical show for grades K-5 is presented by two professional actors in a lively and interactive format. The show combines arts enrichment with education about waste reduction, recycling, composting and climate connections.

Use these activity guides to teach your students about reuse, waste reduction and recycling, and natural resource conservation.
Classroom workshops
Both virtual and in-person conservation workshops are available to be presented to your classroom by an experienced educator. Workshops are interactive and age appropriate.
Green Schools Program
Does your class, Green Team, or other school group need guidance to plan a class, school, or community project to conserve natural resources and protect the environment? The Green Schools Program provides project planning assistance and support.
