Transparency is a key element in building community trust.  The King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) is a success in the communities we serve because transparency is one of our guiding principles. 

To that end we have contracted with Police Strategies LLC to conduct an extensive analysis of KCSO Internal Investigations Unit complaint data occurring in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.  Our intent is that this information will be updated annually. 

Below are the interactive dashboards along with instructions on how to use them.  They allow you to query KCSO’s Internal Investigations Unit complaint data. 

There are five buttons at the top of the dashboards:
