Emergency Deployment Program (EDP):

• King County has created the Emergency Deployment Program to help fill urgently needed positions. This will allow County employees to be redeployed from their regular jobs to urgently needed ones. For more information, click here.

 Emergency Covid Leave Donation:

• King County employees are dedicated public servants, but the Covid pandemic will affect some more than others. As a result, some employees will likely exhaust all of their accrued leave. Employees can now donate up to 80 hours of accrued sick leave and 80 hours of accrued vacation leave to a fund that will support employees that have exhausted their existing leave banks.
