The King County Auditor’s Office conducts oversight of county government through independent audits, capital projects oversight, and other studies. In even numbered years, the King County Auditor’s Office puts together a work program of audit topics for approval by the King County Council. Your ideas and suggestions can help our work program reflect community needs and interests.

Please use the survey below to share your ideas and input. Ideas submitted on or before August 15 of even numbered years will be considered for inclusion in the next work program. All ideas will be reviewed for their relevance to existing and future work programs.

The King County Auditor’s Office is an independent agency within the legislative branch of King County. The office conducts oversight of county government through independent audits, capital projects oversight, and other studies. The results of this work are presented to the Metropolitan King County Council and are communicated to the King County Executive and the public. The King County Auditor’s Office performs its work in accordance with Government Auditing Standards.
