How to Apply for a Board or Commission
Thank you for your interest in seeking an appointment to a King County boards and commissions. King County accepts applications for appointment to King County boards and commissions at any time. However, the following King County boards and commissions are actively recruiting for members. You can find further information about the following boards by going to our "Currently Recruiting" page:
- Board for Developmental Disabilities
- King County International Airport Roundtable
- Seattle Ferry Advisory Committee (must reside near the Colman Dock area)
- WaterWorks Grant Ranking Committee
- Women's Advisory Board
To apply for an appointment to a King County board or commission, please complete this application - if the recruitment notice (in the "Currently Recruiting" tab includes a link to an application, please complete the board specific application. (The application can be completed online. When you have completed the application save it on your computer. Our office is working remotely due to the pandemic, so when you have completed the application, please attach it to an email as a PDF). If you are selected for an appointment to a King County board or commission, you will also be asked to complete a King County Board of Ethics financial disclosure form.
