Find flu shot options near you, including pharmacies. The flu vaccine is 100% covered under most insurance plans when you go to an in-network provider or pharmacy. - Several King County school districts have school based health centers (SBHC)
If your child lives in a district with an SBHC, they can get vaccines and other healthcare services during operating hours. SBHCs are usually closed over the summer. Call ahead to find out about the best time and way to come to the clinic. - Some community health centers
Sea Mar may offer flu shots by appointment to community members, depending on capacity. Call to check availability and cost. - If you don't have insurance or a healthcare provider, the Community Health Access Program (CHAP) can help.

The following does not apply to clinics hosted by Care-a-Van. No-cost back-to-school clinics are open to children who:
- Live in South King County or
- Are uninsured or have insurance that doesn't cover vaccinations or
- Are experiencing homelessness or
- Recently moved to the United States and don't have a medical provider

In Washington state, all children ages 0-18 can receive all routinely recommended vaccines at no cost from a healthcare provider that participates in the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program. You may be charged an administration fee, but this can be waived if cost is a barrier. There are about 300 VFC providers in King County, and most require that a child establishes care in order to get services. Find a VFC provider near you.
The following sites offer vaccinations for children up to age 18 without requiring you or your child to enroll as a patient. However, all clients are encouraged to enroll as patients whenever possible:

How to get there:
If you live in King County and need transportation to your vaccine appointment, there are multiple options:
- Bus Services: King County Metro offers many transportation options to vaccination appointments, including bus transit, Access paratransit, and Community Van shuttles. Learn more about transit options from King County Metro, use Metro's TripPlanner, or call 206-553-3000.
- Ride United Transportation Access: Call 2-1-1 to check eligibility and schedule rides. Offers free Lyft rides to eligible clients in King County (up to 6 rides in 2023, costing up to $22 each way). View more information about United Transportation Access.
- Hopelink Medicaid: for people with Medicaid or an Apple Health card. Call 800-923-7433 to check eligibility.
- Metro Access services for older adults and people with disabilities: Call 206-205-5000 to check eligibility. Enrollment may take up to 21 days.
