Proposed precinct alterations

State law (RCW 29A.16.040, RCW 29A.16.050) requires that precinct boundaries be adjusted in response to:

• redistricting efforts
• limitations on the maximum number of voters
• annexations to cities and
• other election administration constraints  

King County Elections is required to submit these changes to the county legislative authority for adoption (KCC 1.12.010).
