Community Health Worker Asthma Resources


Community Health Workers (CHWs) have been supporting families with asthma care in King County for over 20 years. Research shows that CHWs help communities that are traditionally underserved improve their health.

The CHWs at Public Health – Seattle & King County have helped children and adults have more days without asthma symptoms, fewer emergency room visits, fewer missed days at school or work, and better quality of life.
