Your rights and responsibilities

The Washington Family Leave Act allows a woman job protection benefits during the time that she is temporarily disabled due to her pregnancy or a condition arising out of the pregnancy. When this leave is taken, the time is NOT counted towards FMLA/KCFML and medical/dental/vision benefits are NOT mandated to be paid while an employee is in an unpaid status.
