Vision

We strive to transform the criminal justice system by aligning resources and outcomes, providing holistic people centered interventions for re-entry and integration to those affected by it.

Mission

We provide objective, meaningful and expert research, analysis, strategic direction, coordination and project management to the County’s criminal justice system and community partners. We approach this work with a restorative lens and focus on complex, cross agency and multi-system challenges which will benefit from centralized leadership and support.

Principles

• Expand effective and appropriate responses to harm for those affected by the criminal justice system.
• Expand behavioral health interventions for re-entering persons (emphasis on people of color)
• Expand community and partner access to criminal justice system data.
• Using current research, methodology and analysis to produce meaningful and measurable outcomes
• Apply/Expand trauma informed approach to criminal justice system.
• Build alignment and transparent communication across criminal justice system partners and community
