King County International Airport-Boeing Field
Department of Executive Services
King County International Airport-Boeing Field (FAA LID/IATA: BFI, ICAO: KBFI) is one of the nation's busiest primary non-hub airports. The airport averages 180,000 takeoffs and landings each year, and supports $3.5 billion in local business. This in turn supports more than 16,000 jobs, creating $2 billion in labor income in King County. Our 150 tenants directly support more than 5,000 jobs in the regional economy.
The airport serves small commercial passenger airlines, cargo carriers, private aircraft owners, helicopters, corporate jets, and military and other aircraft. It's also home to various Boeing Company operations as well as The Museum of Flight . Thanks to our location just four miles south of downtown Seattle and close to other business centers, we frequently host celebrities, dignitaries, and sports teams.
Landing and aircraft parking fees can be paid online via credit or debit card.
We use a system, called PlaneNoise, to collect, manage, and track aircraft noise reports from the public. Use this link to make your report online. If you prefer, you can make a report by phone at 206-316-2515.
We also have a tool, PublicVue, that allows community members to track flights and enter comments using the same technology used by our noise management team.
