COVID-19 Response

King County Industrial Waste (KCIW) employees continue to perform critical work that helps safeguard human and environmental health. Based on established COVID-19 guidance provided by Public Health – Seattle & King County, King Street Center is closed to the public.

For questions about COVID-19, we encourage people to visit the Public Health – Seattle & King County website: and subscribe to the Public Health Insider blog:

While KCIW conducts most activities with our customers by phone, with email and during our periodic visits to their facilities, customers can and do visit our offices.

  Office hours are 8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Call KCIW at 206-477-5300 or TTY: 711
  Email us at

You are encouraged to call ahead to plan visits (view staff phone list). KCIW will validate it's visitors' parking (if space is available) in the King Street Center garage.

King Street Center is located quite close to Seattle’s major stadiums and exhibition and concert venues. Traffic can be heavy and parking scarce on game days and when trade shows and concerts are taking place.
