SeaTac Repair Time fix-it event – April 2nd from 3-6pm at the SeaTac Community Center (13735 24th Ave S, SeaTac). Bring your small household items including clothing and King County general “fixer” volunteers will work on them! They want to keep stuff out of the landfill, conserve resources and save you money. Free to the public!

Kent Repair Time fix-it event – April 9 from 3-6pm at the Kent Library (212 2nd Ave N, Kent).

Kent Wastemobile – April 19th, 20th, and 21st from 10am-5pm at the Fred Meyer in Kent (25250 Pacific Hwy S, Kent). The roving Wastemobile travels to many communities in King County to provide residents with a place to take their household hazardous waste on a periodic basis.

Renton Senior Center Metro Transit Orca To-Go Sign Up – April 16th from 10am-12pm at the Renton Senior Center (211 Burnett Ave N, Renton). Each month ORCA To-Go travels around the Puget Sound area making stops at senior and community centers, major events, fairs and other key locations to provide on the spot full-service ORCA card sales and assistance. Cash, checks, and major credit cards accepted for payment.

Renton Housing Authority Metro Transit Orca To-Go Sign up – April 16th from 11am-12pm at the Renton Housing Authority (2900 NE 10th St, Renton).

Burien Community Center Metro Transit Orca To-Go Sign up – April 18th from 10-11am at the Burien Community Center (14700 6th Ave SW, Burien).

City of Burien Events

Lakeview Park Grand Re-OpeningApril 17th from 1:30-3:30pm at Lakeview Park (2380 2nd Ave S, Burien). Celebrate the official Grand Re-Opening of Lakeview Park, with improvements to the pathway and a new tot playground!

Arbor & Earth Day Celebration – April 179h from 1-2:20pm at Arbor Lake Park (422 SW 160th St, Burien). The City of Burien will be celebrating both Arbor & Earth Day at Arbor Lake Park. The event will include an Arbor Day ceremony and tree planting at 1:30pm. After the ceremony, attendees can help celebrate Earth Day with a short park clean up and mulching along the north shoreline of the lake.

Coffee with a Cop – April 3rd from 1-2pm at the Hunting Park Club House (1000 S 248th St, Des Moines).

Earth Day Celebration at Saltwater State Park – April 20th from 11:45am-3:30pm at Saltwater State Park (25205 8th Pl S, Des Moines). Read more about this event here.

Coffee & Conversation with Mayor Dana Ralph – April 13th from 9-11am at Panera Bread at Kent Station (521 Second Pl North, Kent).

Celebrate Earth Day in Kent – April 20th at Clark Lake Park (12520 SE 240th St, Kent). Join with your friends and family as Kent Parks celebrates Earth Day at Clark Lake Park. This year they will be helping improve grassland habitat by providing some TLC to existing plantings and preparing the site for future habitat improvements. Register for the event here.

Prescription Take Back Day – April 27 from 10am-2pm at the Kent Police Department (232 4th Ave S, Kent). The Kent Police Department will be collecting any expired, unwanted and unused medication. Read more about this event here.

Senior Activity Center Spring Luncheon – April 17th from 11:15am-1pm at the Renton Senior Activity Center (211 Burnett Ave N, Renton). Read more about this event here.
