To help you and your family save money on prescription medicine not covered by insurance, Public Health — Seattle & King County and the National Association of Counties are pleased to announce the King County Prescription Discount Card Program. Available at no cost to all county residents, the King County Prescription Discount Card Program can save an average of 24% off the price of all commonly prescribed medications. Learn how to apply.

  • Through the Clean Up Lift program, eligible customers can receive $12 off the cost to dispose of garbage and recyclables at King County’s recycling and garbage transfer facilities.

  • Sound Transit is offering a 66% discount on solo driver parking permits for transit riders who are qualified for and obtain an ORCA Lift Reduced Fare Transit Card.

  • Lime Bike-Lime Access Program: Qualifying users can access Lime’s e-bikes at half price. The ORCA LIFT card is accepted as proof of low-income status when applying for this program.

Your family's monthly income may qualify you for low-cost energy and utility assistance services through Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and the Utility Discount Program (UDP).

Now there's a more affordable way to get to work, school, shopping, day care or anywhere else you need to go. It's ORCA LIFT, a new, reduced transit fare that can help you get more out of your public transportation system. ORCA LIFT cards can be used for Metro buses for only $1.50 per trip, any time of the day. To qualify, a person's household income must be no more than 200 percent of the federal poverty level as established by the U.S. Health and Human Services Department.

The Promotora model is a culturally sensitive, lay health educator for the Latina community. It has been used throughout the United States to address domestic violence, chronic disease, and oral health. Learn more about the program.

The Access & Outreach program provides trainings and technical support to our community partners. As the lead Navigator organization in King County under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), we help people apply for health insurance coverage, and we also coordinate a network of over 600 Navigators at partner organizations throughout the county.
