Award

In 2007, the King County Clerk's Office Electronic Court Records Program received an Innovations in Government Award from the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation at Harvard’s Kennedy School. Innovation Awards are given annually to recognize and promote “excellence and creativity in the public sector.”

Part of the Innovations in Government (IAG) award was designated for creation of this online library. The ECR Program Library holds original materials used in the creation, development, marketing, and maintenance of the ECR Program. These materials are accompanied by philosophical, historical, and contextual information regarding the establishment and development of King County’s ECR Program.

The ECR Program Library is intended to serve users, researchers, and those who might be interested in implementing an electronic court record in their own jurisdictions.
