Rural King County

The Community Services Area (CSA) program was created to meet the King County Strategic Plan goal of promoting public engagement that informs, involves, and empowers people and communities in unincorporated King County and implements the public engagement framework ordinance passed by King County in 2011. A community work plan of ongoing services and projects in each of the seven community service areas is available on the CSA web site. The CSA program also provides funding to local community organizations in unincorporated King County through an annual funding application process and provides residents the opportunity to meet with elected officials and key County leadership to learn about and offer insights on services that are under way or planned in their community. For more information, contact CSA Program Manager Alan Painter, at 206 477-4521.
