TDR Sending Site Application Form

TDR Sending Site Application Form

Sending Site Forms and Resources

The first step in the enrollment process is to complete a Sending Site Application. Download the form below and return it to the address on the application with a check for the application fee payable to King County Permits, and include the required information and supporting documents. For the current application fee, please refer to King County Code 27.10.170 and the Fee Guides on the Department of Local Services - Permitting Division website (as of August 2019, the fee is listed in Guide 08, under Zoning for Transfer of Development Rights sending site certification).

Forest and Farm Plans

If your sending site is in a Forest Production District, you will need to complete a Forest Stewardship Plan. King County can help with development of this plan. Contact Bill Loeber for assistance in completing a forest stewardship plan.

Sending sites in Agricultural Production Districts will require a current Farm Plan. The King Conservation District external link can help you develop a farm plan.

For questions about the TDR Program, please contact Nicholas Bratton, TDR Program Manager, or Anne-Gigi Chan, Land Conservation Project Manager, King County WLRD Rural and Regional Services Section.
