Supplementing wild kokanee at Issaquah Hatchery
See the work to help Lake Sammamish kokanee in the fish hatchery in Issaquah. The hatchery is a safe place for young kokanee to hatch, live and grow before they're planted in their native creeks around the lake. The goal of this work is to make kokanee plentiful again, enough to phase out hatchery support and to allow fishing for kokanee again. All photos on this page © Grace Reamer.
