  • Event planning

Lauren Vlas
Policy Analyst
Lauren brings a deep knowledge of Countywide issues and operations, strong project management skills, and a strategic mind to the District Four team. She covers the following committees and issue areas:

  • Health, Housing & Human Services Committee
  • Law & Justice Committee
  • Budget & Fiscal Management Committee
  • Board of Health
  • Public health
  • Housing and homelessness prevention
  • Human services, including the Mental Illness and Drug Dependency (MIDD) program, Best Starts for Kids, and the Veterans and Human Services Levy

Jon Fowler
Policy Analyst
Councilmember Kohl-Welles and the constituents of District Four are well served by Jon’s tireless dedication to public service, endless appetite for information, and exemplary communication skills. Jon covers the following committees and issue areas:

Isaac Horwith
Legislative Aide
Isaac’s positive mental attitude and exceptional intelligence give the District Four team an extra boost. He assists staff with constituent work, community relations, and special projects. Isaac currently works on:

  • Regional Affordable Housing Task Force
  • Safe injection sites
  • Modular housing & homelessness
  • Research
