Runway closures in June and July
Runway 14R/32L will be closed overnights in June and July for annual maintenance.


Level up: King County International Airport-Boeing Field moving toward next step in Airport Carbon Accreditation Program
In 2021, King County International Airport-Boeing Field achieved Level 1 in the Airport Carbon Accreditation Program (ACAP), an international effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions attributed to aviation. Now, the airport is on track to achieve Level 2, demonstrating actual reductions in emissions.


Airport seeks input on air monitoring plan and landscape plan
King County International Airport (KCIA) seeks feedback on two initiatives under development: an air monitoring plan and a landscape plan. The air monitoring plan will determine the type and location for air monitors at the airport. The landscape plan will identify what plants to use at the airport.


Temporary flight restriction in place for Presidential visit
A Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) will be in place at King County International Airport-Boeing Field on April 21 and 22 while President Biden visits Seattle.
