Petrovitsky Park Splash Pad

Exciting changes are coming to Petrovitsky Park!

As part of the King County, Department of Local Services, Participatory Budget process, community members identified the need to provide additional recreational opportunities in the Petrovitsky neighborhood. Petrovitsky Park was selected for improvements based on its location within the Fairwood Community Service Area. The Participatory Budget Committee (which includes Petrovitsky community members) approved nearly $1.5 million for this project. Additionally, King County Council has allocated $1.6 million for the project.

In Summer 2027*, the new splash pad will be added to Petrovisky Park.

*The timeline is subject to change due to weather and/or contractor availability.

SEPA Notice

A State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) review has been completed for this project. The SEPA public comment period ends on November 26, 2025, Parks will continue to accept comments until December 3, 2025.
